We got a hook in our mouth and signed up for the 3 day workshop, only thing though was that I was leaving in 2 weeks for Warrant Officer Candidate School and could make it to the date they tried to rush us into.

It has been a great networking tool, and I have learned A LOT from the classes and workshops I have attended through the club.

Home Depot and Lowes hosts workshops, but I think the best way to get knowledge without direct experience is by taking some type of part-time evening class at a technical school.
