Texas REIAs Residential Workshop.  Has anyone heard of these folks, IE: Phil Grove. I attended a 20 hour work shop this weekend. The topics covered are very interesting. But as always there is a catch. Money to join the group, thousands!!! Understanding is a 3 edged sword, when it comes to real estate investing. I know i'm gonna get cut. I just dont want to loose a arm and a leg. I was born with nothing.... I still have some of it. thanks.

    Replied

If you have $50,000 let's go buy property instead of workshops.   Learn by doing....not by reading or going to seminars.

Let's say you get a horrible buy and take too long to rehab and get a terrible deal on financing....and loose 10%, better learning and loosing 10% vs, loosing the whole $50,000 on a seminar.....you're still way ahead.
