I talked with one tonight - we went over commission, office fee and start up fees.Doesn't seem to unreasonable - small monthly office fee, lots of training - (looks like I could have some sort of training every day of the week), mentoring, decent split (less your first year, but can quickly get to 100% if you are producing).Office fee included Central Showing System, E/O, advertising (something about protecting the agents leads online, little fuzzy on that), phone forwarding, email, copies, mobile app, website - not sure what else.

The fourth amendment states: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Here is what my expectations are with the brokerage- Good broker support (not high cost mentorship)- No monthly or startup fees- Free websites with IDX/ CRM - Reasonable broker fees (preferably a flat fee)- marketing/leads not necessarySome of the above might look unreasonable expectation particularly for a new agent.

What may seem like an unreasonably priced per hour basis, if you were to divide that over the amount of hours any small business person actually works will bare little resemblance to the hourly rate that you think you are actually paying.Now does every one need a real estate agent?
