It depends on where the home is located, if it's in a place like the central valley California where the soil is mostly sand septic tanks will work even if it's just a hole in the ground.

I can buy for around $50k and put around $10k into it and get $1000-$1100 monthly in rent if you pick the right zip code areas.There are also some places here in CA like the Antelope Valley, but don't expect too much appreciation.
