If you have a unique question or scenario, or you have something that requires and salty REI's input then this type of forum is great for that.At this point, without knowing more about your level of experience, you appear best suited to find a mentor or partner who has a year or two of experience, you want a mentor that is not too far ahead of you in the endeavor.

I feel reasonably equipped for what we are trying to accomplish ( financial freedom in 5 years) but wide open to suggestions, guidance, mentoring, and changing the plan as needed;when needed.   

New to Multi family I would love to connect with a knowledgeable mentor.

My advice- pay for a good mentor!

Perhaps you can find a mentor to guide you through the first few deals?

The more people you meet the more likely you'll meet someone who can mentor you or trust you to partner with you for future deals. 

I do understand how a lack of tenants can stall the deal however.Feel free to do the numbers yourself, but I asked a few of my mentors and the consensus is its a cold market or a greedy one.

I am still fairly new to real estate and I am curious about how to get referrals for my mentor.
