Are they just going to teach me things I could learn here or other resources?

I would recommend looking into local real estate meet-ups and networking with investors to get yourself on wholesalers email lists when they send out their deals.Hope this helps!

You can do DSCR in your personal name in Florida, just needs to be with the right investor.

@Jerry Chilimidos,Ned is correct, if you end up refinancing your rentals in the IRA - your IRA will be subject to UBIT tax on leveraged portion of the income so be sure to run the numbers with you CPA to understand the tax implications.
