Hello, I am newly interested in starting a career in real estate and it seems like real estate investing would be the way to go as far as how much money you could possibly make and the time/effort put into it.

@John Lee and @Alex Moglia It seems as I am only potentially a few weeks "ahead" of you in my real estate career.

On the other hand, as RE agent with only rental experience and no experience as a landlord or rehabbing (my full time career is in fitness) I understand how the kitchen and bathroom looks is very important.

I started off my real estate investment career by getting money from my relatives who were willing to work with me.

I reside in Houston, but I have boots on ground in Memphis, TN and Shreveport, LA.Wishing you all a fantastic day and overall career in RE investing!!

We have no intentions of withdrawing any funds from our llc bank account until after tax time so that we can get a good feel for the tax implication in relation to our individual income from our primary careers and, neither of us currently need the money to go back to our respective pockets so we intend to roll it all back in to more houses/flips etc.. 

I felt like it was, however, a defining moment for my future real estate career as I can now spend even more time reading and networking.

I do not cater *only* to military, but this housing is also suitable for teachers, policemen, firefighters, and similar tenants.  

However right now what I need is a career, my girlfriend and I are living in Kona, HI doing a work trade (that’s how we moved here from the east coast).

I didn't start my career until I was 35 years old.
