A lot of eyes are on the midwest these days so I thought I’d put an offer out there for all the BP folks around the country who have their eye on Cleveland, Ohio.I’ve personally placed a major bet on Cleveland as an upcoming city for long term buy-and-holds and I have plenty of reasons why.

The actual "lock up" happened when people started finding out smart people were betting against them in the form of credit default swaps. 

So, all of this to say that though nothing in life or investments are guaranteed, there are some companies out there with stellar track records and means by which these things can be analyzed to make for a fairly safe bet, at least in so much as a sustainable dividend payout goes.

If possible, it sounds like your best bet would be to invest in a quadplex (4 units) to house hack.

Your best bet, IMO, is to work with the university to see if you can reach a unified vision for what this parcel will be.

Your best bet is to post over in the local networking or marketplace part of the forums.

I bet if you Google "Craigslist scam private mover" or something similar you'll find almost the exact wording of your text!

Not to say anything is wrong with those properties but I am seeing more and more properties that people from Austin are buying "betting" on the future and not taking into consideration what it is today.
