If the paneling is in good shape you should consider using the best quality paint/primer that you can afford (usually around $45 a gallon) If you don't know your "paints" then speak to the paint pro behind the counter and be sure to tell them you're painting paneling.I also agree with the previous poster that said your money is better spent on the kitchen/bathroom.Good luck!

Think about it, if you have every paid the extra penny per gallon of gas rather than crossing a busy intersection to get the cheaper gas, then you already understand this concept.

With all of the water conservation laws on newer style toilets 1.6 to 1.3 gallons per flush doesn't help either, I always tell my clients to flush twice to make sure the waste actually makes it to where its going (just hold the handle down longer and you'll get two flushes).

I've found out that since it's a 4 bedroom, current code now requires a 40 gallon.

Replacing all the windows is a big ticket item probably 10k plus.Buy good quality paint (probably 30 dollars a gallon).
