Stay focused on the target returns This market is extremely saturated due to lack of inventory, and low mortgage rates - so unless are 100% sure in the area/market you are investing in that appreciation is happening due to good fundamentals growing population, employment growth, centralized location, walkability/amenities, etc.

We are in Miami and as everyone knows the market is overly saturated with competition and I have suggested moving to other places whether Central Florida or Indiana where she has family but her concern is that since we are an interracial couple (I’m hispanic and she’s black and our mixed kids) that she wants to stay in a melting pot and close to family.
