Hello,Just purchased my first small 6 unit apartment in Ohio, I have 1 vacant unit that I am looking to start showing but I read at somewhere there is a limit to the amount you can charge a tenant on an application fee for background and credit check that is set by the state.

My background is in international logistics and I believed I could apply that set of skills to the project management side of flipping  a home.

A little bit about myself - My educational background is in architectural engineering with a focus in construction management.

So, for a quick background on myself, I am a recent college graduate living in Atlanta, GA, currently working at a marketing agency full-time, but have become extremely interested in pursuing some sort of real estate investing.

It then provides an online rental application, ability to collect payment, and run credit & background checks. 

My professional background consists of 20 years in the mortgage lending industry.

Background: I'm looking to buy my first multi-family rental property, a spacious two family home caught my eye in Rhode Island for about $180,000-$190,000, which should be able to get $3000 in rent a month, it needs a bit of work but is in a great location with upside.
