I am fairly well educated with respect to be able to do investment analysis but still it seems interesting to consider turnkey given a) a full time demanding job and b) lack of good investment opportunities in my local market in NJAbsoulutely, the least educated and experienced investor in the subject of REI generally speaking if we are talking the retail priced TKs commonly peddled BP variety.

For me reasons include: better able to be a niche salesperson e.g. investors, in a metro area with a lot of opportunities to expand e.g. property management, loving the unique character of the region e.g. historic homes, wide variety of unique amenities, FOOD, and I've put in a lot of hours getting to know the local market.Small towns may have opportunity to dominate the market pretty quickly, but it also doesn't take many agents to oversaturate.

They bypassed a variety safety items, and so while we can get the boiler to turn on and heat if needed, it absolutely would NOT pass a city inspection, and I would 100% not be comfortable with it the way it is for tenants living in both my units.So, we DID have the home inspected before we purchased and the inspector didn't say anything about the boiler.
