Ok buckle up if these assumptions are good:Over the years I have seen a lot of things go wrong and very few right when someone took a primary residence and made it into a rent home, having no experience and the property is not something you would buy originally as a rental property.  

I was unsure of how it would go originally when I started back in 2017 with our 1st section 8 tenant. 

The storyline lost its original appeal.

Figure closing costs including origination, service fees, and title at about 5% of purchase price.

If 30% was already paid on original loan by seller why I have to refinance at Property current value?

Curious how the process was or if you've had any experience since the original posting. 

As a note investor, we rarely if ever originate loans for owner occupied, we would rather buy on secondary market at a discount.
