How do you maintain privacy for yourself and the renter。

I'm rejecting RE investing methods that don't fit my personality and focussing on three strategies:.  2-year live in flips (to get the 121 tax exclusion), BRRRs, tax deed sales.3.

Or find a place with a basement apartment that you can rent long-term or on Airbnb (with the added bonus of a little more privacy.)What's your main motivation?

@Jon Crosby appreciate the reply, logistically for the exterior there's no reasonable way to split it and give each unit the privacy required outside (this also wouldn't sit well for how I'd like the property for when I use it personally as well). 

Hotels will be hurt as people want more privacy and distance on their vacations.

Adding a privacy fence to the property, HVAC system, and new moisture barrier.

I've tried calling utility companies but I could only get gas, not electricity, because they can't give out that information due to privacy issues.
