Did Matt or Jeff ever get BofA to remove the deficiency judgement language from the approval letter ?

When a deliquent homeowner sold on a short sale, or someone settles a judgement for less than owed with a Creditor, they receive a 1099 for INCOME earned in the "short" amount.

Laws vary state to state so rely on your own due diligence, judgement, information and opinions from licensed professionals before you make any decisions regarding this matter. 

Since both of them have good jobs and broke the lease due to bad choices I would like to file a judgement against them both to try and recoup the loss.Does anyone have experience they can share regarding the steps needed to get a legal judgement against them in Texas?

I don't have LLC's.Ive had two big experienced with lots of insurance related problems this year sofar, first time in 4 years of investing, one of my properties I had a young child get burned by hot water in the bath tub, the burns were very severe and short story the child was airlifted 2 hours away to a burn center and spent 5 months at the center. house was a hud section 8 home, and and found myself in several lawsuits, from the tenant, the housing authority, and CPS and when it came down to it my insurance did not completely cover the judgement(s).

Your landlord could send you a bill for the rest of the rent, which would be due immediately when you break the lease in most cases, and if you do not pay, could take you to court and get a judgement against you.

And, in my experience, they aren't very well versed either until they get specific questions...at which point, they huddle together to make a judgement call.

For actual evictions, I check to see what the judgement was. 

I mean, they spent $290 on a forum website account...I feel like that should be the definition of poor judgement.
