Lonnie Deal - is there a Readers Digest version ?

Although I have no plans at the moment to buy or otherwise deal with mobile homes - my Life very often takes unexpected turns. <g>

With that in mind, can anyone give me the Readers Digest version of just what the oft mentioned: "Lonnie Deal" is?

If nobody knows how it will play out, then a lawyer probably won't help. In fact, in my experience, the only real authority is your state's Department of Banking and Finance. And, in my experience, they aren't very well versed either until they get specific questions...at which point, they huddle together to make a judgement call. This has happened to me twice, in two different states.

Barring that, I think Bill Gulley is pretty much spot on...
