I have researched for years and seen the common notion of just jumping into it but when you are making a major investment it is easier said then done.

@Michael Seeker The notion of minimizing interest over the theoretical life of a loan runs counter to any leverage-based strategy, which is what BP is all about.I'm not concerned about how much interest I'll pay by the time I've paid off the loan, because I'm not Dave Ramsey.
