I'll look over the responses more closely to see which one suits me best and will follow up with any additional questions.Might look to profiles of posters too, might get an indication of who you might rely on, do your due diligence.Saying family member isn't definite enough in legal aspects, a third cousin or "immediate family" member, mother, father, sister, brother are going to be exempt lenders. :)

Many of those properties would be listed on MLS; just select multi-family properties on your search.Another idea in a similar vein is to look for single family homes that have either a mother-in-law suite or a garage apartment or carriage house.

I am buying a property,by looking at the prelim report, it has a trust showing both mother's name "A" ( pass away) and daughter "B" is selling the property short sale to me. on the #2. of the title report, it says "Title To Said Estate At The Date Hereof Is Vested In: "A"(the mother) and "B" (the daughter), as Co-Trustees ( or the successor Trustee) of the "A" 2006 Trust, dated May 24, 2006 subject to processdings pending in the bankruptcy court where a petition for relief was filed In June 12, 2013 ."
