Also updated the look inside with LVT flooring and paint, added granite counters, painted cabinetry and trim, replaced non-functioning AC, landscaped backyard full of weeds into desert style landscape, painted exterior brick to updated colors.

This, as you've eloquently alluded to, Jay, is definitely not a pig :) ya it looked nice in the pics and I think the desert offers some advantages with weather other than some heat issues.. still waiting for that donation from camp Ben.... don't forget us now...

I lived in Tempe for about a decade and the proximity to everything makes it an ideal location for living and owning rentals.Yes Scottsdale is kind of the desert equivalent to La Jolla, so you can expect to pay those prices for that fanciness as well.
