@Brian M Sweeney I just formed all this a week or two ago and have all my accounts and credit cards in the first businesses name.

If they are not interested, leave a card and ask them to let you know if they change their mind.Planting seeds is what you are doing.

One thing you can do, if you only have the one credit card, is to use it to pay all of the monthly bills that you regularly pay and then pay the card in full each month. 

I figure my credit card statement retains the transaction amount, so I figure that will cover me. 

As I stated before, I do not feel that taking total charge of a flip is in the cards at this time due to our current situation.

There is no way his credit is blank unless he has not applied for a credit card or loan in the past decade.

My best advice is start with personal recommendations from friends and family in the area, try driving for contractors; kinda like driving for dollars, but you are looking in areas where there is a lot of investor activity and start collecting cards.
