I make it clear that I can't see everything until they are completely out and that the final walk-through may uncover problems not identified in the pre-inspection.

If I uncover a hidden gem, I would be more than willing to share that with you.

After saying that, since you found it I would still attempt to uncover someone that may have an interest.

When I read the new post, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, meaning I read this post as "I make sure I uncover every single issue and make sure I'm compensated for it" where obviously people here in this thread read it more like "this guy is taking advantage of the seller."

Even when you do uncover something, it isn't guaranteed.

But I didn't leave, instead chose to stay here and do something about it (like VOTE).I could go on and on about other mind boggling arguments (and their logic) I uncovered here but unfortunately I have work to do, and a snow storm to face... maybe later.

In my opinion, inspections are to uncover (and possible repair or renegotiate) items that are not easily recognized at the time the offer is made/accepted.  

I always keep the conversation, friendly, inquisitive  and helpful while trying to uncover their motivation.
