I live in Long Beach, CA and buying around here isn't an option.

Hi Folks--can anyone recommend a good realtor for investors who knows the NC/SC beach markets?

You only live once and you cant take it with you, so unless your dad has some dream of starting (or continuing) some dynasty you all should cash in and start enjoying the beach and those drinks with the little umbrellas, while you are still alive.

I am Derek from Huntington Beach CA. 

He thought people would pay crazy for the beach, until he saw the ridiculous prices to be near a ski lift. 

I personally have been very impressed with the per sq ft returns on really small units too (like studios on the beach).

@Owen Dashner It is actually out of my area so I am not that familiar with it yet...about 3 hours away from me and I am in Virginia Beach, VA.

I decided its time to start talking to some people about what im doing. turns out a family member was a motivated seller , long story short I bought a 200m2 piece of land in Baja California with an amazing beach view. lots of development is happening.

@George Blower Thanks to you as well, however, I am curious if "metals" factor in such precious metals as gold, silver, platinum, etc?
