The perception of desperation, failure to acknowledge personal space etc. could be some of the negatives of such an approach.

@Ray Agosto, look up the owner of record through the public records in the county the property is located in.

I did a search and wasn't able to find anything in the public record about foreclosure filings or any related action taken.

Even if we're all wrong on electric being far more costly, perception is reality and you'll then have to "sell" that premise to any tenant with half of a brain and if ever selling, to the many buyers who'll undoubtedly object.The other point someone already mentioned but that is TOTALLY on point is where our electric bills will be going vs gas bills down the road.
