Have you spoken to an immigration lawyer about your options? 

There is a ton of fix and flip going on in Brooklyn and I am trying to work my confidence towards that after my first project at a lower price point around 300K somewhere (CT seems like my only option). 

Hey @Rio Nance you’re casting a pretty wide net with your question, since it's not specific to an area or city, but I’ll share based on what I'm seeing.

I've helped people with SBA loans to purchase real estate for a business, but for buying rental real estate, the DSCR loan is a much better option.

Leverage is key and the diversity of options is also good.

There are some DSR Rehab lenders that may lend based on ARV.Otherwise, you'll need to raise funds from family & friends.

Just one additional option.  

Does anyone have experience with this or other options in using Fund and Grow credit cards with conventional/unconventional lenders? 

Short of that, you may target employees of Canada-based companies with a presence in KC (this is easy to find on LinkedIn).

They have decent rental markets, and there are options where you could get in with a 20% down payment.
