I've read a few books and listen to the BiggerPockets podcast frequently trying to learn what I can.I have begun writing up a goal, plan and putting together spreadsheets using a lot of information from The ABC's of Real Estate Investing.

Many sponsors of weekend events will make frequent attempts to sell you programs and coaching.

This question is for the out-of-state investors, what frequent flyer and/or business travel programs would you recommend to save on travel expenses for trips to acquire and check up on your properties.Any advice would be appreciated. 

I too am a fan of BP podcasts and they have taught me a great deal about real estate investing.Business takes me to Lynchburg frequently and I almost moved there after becoming enchanted with the the town 20 years ago.

I frequently have a group of single students wanting to rent my larger houses together and I tell them up from about my requirements.

If that profile is not of your liking, then move on to another note that has better characteristics.

A closing agent who deals with assignments and double closes on a frequent basis is a must.
