I used to try and limit the customer's time talking with me on the jobsite....I pointed out to them that jobsite progress slowed down when they showed up, and started chatting with everyone, and that the project completion date was going to be pushed back.

Unless you are terribly priced, or have a severely limited customer pool, turning people down is going to be part of the business. 

Track your cost, increase by a % and get one customer. 

Based on my calculations and preliminary research, I have found that the Bay Area offers good returns from developing land, although acquiring level land and obtaining permits can be challenging.I have a few questions:1) Is it recommended to purchase a complete house plan from online sources like ePlans or similar websites and then customize the architectural design before submitting it to the municipality?

Failed HVAC guys who don't work well with others, electricians with a lousy customer base, sometimes a journeyman plumber who can never quite qualify for his master credentials.

There is a significant difference in rehab costs between those generations: anything pre-WW2 was custom built on site.

Hello all, I am trying to figure out if this custom home on the hill in Castle Rock Co is a good investment. 

If I could not find one on a property, I would note that as a safety concern and would highly encourage adding one for the safety of the home owners.

But higher rent per door for larger doos, with same number of calls/customer care (usually).
