Both make sense, it just depends on how many units/how much time you want to devote to investing. 

We are leaving town for a couple of weeks, but I am devoting July to working with DBI.

I still do that but my hours I can devote to investing are less and less each month.

But I am looking to devote full time to RE investing now, and I dont want to pay full commissions anymore.

My devoted lady is devastated and heart broken.

My husband and I have lightly dabbled in property investing over the past 10-15 years, but weren't able to devote too much time due to prior work and family obligations.

I would then quit my other job and devote all my working hours to that.

I couldn't scrape at night or the neighbors would complain, and I worked all day, so I had limited time per day to devote to cleaning calcimine and nicotine residue off those walls.

I'm joining this website to learn as much as possible from other successful investors, especially those more experienced ones who have lived through several cycles.What I bring to the table: Good investment acumen (have been investing in companies for 5+ years), time/energy to devote to learning (on nights and weekends as I still have a full-time job) and capital to invest from myself and others once I have learned enough to know I’m not the patsy at the table.Anyone in the NYC area who is willing to bring me under their wing will not regret it.
