There are opportunities everywhere, you just have to train your eyes to spot them, your brain and mouth to create them, and your arms and legs to execute them.Yes, your market is expensive, and for good reason ... there is high demand and perpetually limited supply of housing.

It's hard to find 2 people who can keep their mouths shut.  

Needless to say we passed on that house and didn't even bother looking at other properties they manage.We ended up getting a SFH on Riva rd about 2 months ago and couldn't be happier.  

But If you do a good job vetting potential tenants and treat them well, everyone will be happier and you might even get some free snow shoveling out of it.

Well, this boils down to political issues, while politicians talk out one side of their mouth they really don't want the "poor house" in their area.

I'd rather give up leverage on this first deal to prove to banks that our incentives are aligned and our money is where our mouths are.
