Many (though not all) of them are in the desert areas or sometimes in Mountain Areas.

Well I want to capture the market where I am in my own Niche. then make cashflow from my extracurricular (fun activities) But the other area would be different for everyone, close to an aging parent or you just want to write a book while looking at the desert.

Deserts could have high initial cash flow, coastals low low or zero initial cash flow.

California property so expensive unless I'm going to Barstow, or desert property.

Not "tons"Tenant is from Las Vegas , last time I was there in August , the humidity was very low , and it doesnt rain much there . ( isnt it the desert )  Not ideal environment for mold.

I have been greatly discouraged from the "dust bowls" in our Hi-desert, Cal City, Victorville, Landcaster, Palmdale etc... 

The reason for this is the many areas of diversity, from Desert Mountain to Ahwatuki and everything in between.

I'm a security contractor in the Middle East, which means that I have to live in a crappy little desert hole most of the time and I can't come back to America to take any of the in-person exams that are required to become a real estate agent. 

I'll bet you can't pick it out frm the desert if you are flying over it in a plane.
