I know this probably has alarm bells ringing at this point, the new guy that thinks he can make it buying up cheap properties in Detroit, but as David Green says in his book, a good property manager can have success with this.

Another example is from David Greene's book where he talks about paying his agent $1,000 for any deal he does with a member of his agent's office or team, as a way to motivate his agent to market his criteria to other agents and have more people working to find him deals.Any feedback on any methods you use or ideas you think might work is appreciated.

I find myself comparing myself to the "Brandon Turners" and the "David Greenes" of real estate investing, which I know is stupid because the guys have been at it longer then I have.
