Tim hit the nail on the head with what he wrote.All I can tell you is that in my neck of the woods is that finding a Section 8 tenant with a credit score at or above 600 would be like finding one with all their natural teeth. 

They are "support" animals which seem to have the same disability benefit, but no training whatsoever.

For me the appropriate number of credit cards is 4 with kind of higher limits, $15-20,000 and then I’ve got a Lowes card and getting higher credit on that thing is like pulling teeth!

That's a business purpose loan that doesn't allow owner-occupancy whatsoever, and you sign a document at closing agreeing to this. 

It can be very gut wrenching/teeth pulling but it's very effective if you consistently do it.
