A couple PMs could barely get past basic building processes or proper vocabulary when asked deeper questions than a homeowner would but they had a nice knit shirt with a logo and wrinkless khakis.

It's a sign of great success, but I miss the close knit family from some of the old times. 

@Alexander Tone, Newbies are definitely welcome, our meetup has been smaller attendance wise compared to some of the bigger ones, which gives it a more close knit feel. 

When I start interviewing for PM, I'll be sure to include these rules.Because the neighborhood is very close knit, I would like the PM introduces himself/herself to the neighbors on each side.

It has been along time but here are some of the things to be aware of in Lago Vista and Highland Lake Estates :'- Many lots are not economically feasible to build on due to topography- Some lot may not have water and sewer to the lot and it would be your cost to get them there(I am sure that this has changed somewhat)-City Hall can be a close knit group that can be unfriendly to those from the big city of AustinLet me know if you have any specific questions and thanks for the trip down real estate memory lane !

REBN is great too though - very tight knit community.

I have in a fairly tight knit neighborhood, and one of the previous homeowners want to move back to the neighborhood, but only for a few years as they are retiring.

I do a little of this here in PDX for my close knit guys.. so yes they are getting into deals with NO money out of pocket.. but they are giving me half the profit  :) and I watch em like a hawk.. so not really anything a bigger shop can do for you.

DMV investors (especially us baltimore focused individuals) are pretty close knit here on BP.
