Account Closed  Always have exit paths available, it's great if it cash flows as an STR (on paper) but the true test is if it will still break even as a long term rental if you have to convert for some reason (COVID, STR regulations, etc.). 

You could try doing a STR on one of the units if you absolutely want to try it and still have some steady and predictable income from the other LTR unit/s.

Apologize for so many questions, but STR on converted single family house is new to me and it seems I have tons to learn!

Looking for ideas on locations, within driving distance from NYC, max 3 hours for a vacation property for my family that could also be used for STR on VRBO/Airbnb.

I would love to have some open dialogue on anyone needing assistance running/managing their current STR on Airbnb/VRBO and see if there could be a mutually beneficial business relationship! 

One idea would be to do some STR on our unit.

Or a STR on the NC coast or mountains would be great for $400k.
