According to the website of the Ministry Of Tourism in he Dominican Republic.On October 9, 2001, the National Congress approved Law No. 158-01 on promoting tourism development for areas with little development and new centers in provinces and localities with great potential, to accelerate a rationalized development process. of the tourism industry in all regions with potential and natural conditions for tourism exploitation throughout the Dominican territory.In the law above, the Tourism Promotion Council (CONFOTUR) was created, to apply the guidelines of Law No. 158-01, as well as create the conditions and facilities necessary so that innovative tourism projects can benefit from the incentives granted by law.Through Decree No. 372-14, the Technical Directorate of CONFOTUR was created, in charge of handling all technical matters derived from the application of Law No. 158-01 and its modifications.Classification application files, to comply with the terms of Law 158-01 and its modifications, must be sent through the CONFOTUR website by completing the Application Form.

probably wouldn't be approved in a residential neighborhood. council variance or variance request would have to be done and in columbus they look at the neighborhood plans they wouldn't allow industrial (storage or garages), or mobile homes. build a 1-4 family

It will be difficult in my opinion, unless you can change the use of the land by petitioning for a zoning change with the city council, and then try to sell a re-zoned single family 4 unit parcel to a small developer.

Our state lobbyist out of Olympia spoke for a full hour on the socialistic bills and ideas coming out of the city council in Seattle in the Capitol.They are contemplating or have already enacted rules regarding no rent raises when service calls are unresolved, must show cause to terminate a m-m agreement, rent control, 5% capital gains taxes on RE sales (in addition to the 1.7% excise tax), pre-'78 lead inspections, periodic unit inspections, etc.
