Trellis would work well too, but be careful not to plant something that would grow outward in girth and too tall, as that would visually split the house in half.Paint the white horizontal header at the porch gray, so it will blend in with siding.Extend the porch to the end of the house and change the railings.

Build a fence that is as tall as my house on my side of the property line facing their house of something solid - concrete block perhaps, with rebar reinforcement, or similar - and then screen off your side of it completely with some tall greenery such as Emerald Arborvitae or Thuja Green Giant.

My knee-jerk reaction is like others "nope", but then take a minute and think on it, because it's realized this is the tenant sharing a problem at the property, and ask what results that could make. 6' fence is fairly tall as is, so issue isn't height, it's that it's so easily scalable.
