Good or bad, it is easier to get a RE agent license in any state in the U.S. than it is to get a cosmetology or barber's license.   

This would be like me saying I'd like to do other people hair for a fee, but I don't want to get a cosmetology license.  

Got my first message about it today...he's a waiter,  she teaches cosmetology...both laid off.

We literally called the top 100 salons on Yelp in Philly, along with the Beauty and Cosmetology Schools, and ran multiple Craigslist Ads before filling the unit.

I got my cosmetology license after university and have been doing hair for 4 years.

Cosmetology, welding, auto repair, dental assisting, etc.

The lady I was in with took care of all the details, and my interest was held as a lender as at that time owners had to hold a cosmetology license, I claimed to be the landlord (cost plus basis arrangement).

One contracted us very early,  he is a bartender and she teaches cosmetology.  

I revisited the idea two more times (2007 & 2010) but hit roadblocks, got discouraged, and decided to work on my college education, get a cosmetology license, open up a small makeup boutique (which is now closed) & focus on my three student athletes.
