I'd say if it took a whole day to get back to you then it may be time to talk about it but several hours is not unreasonable at all

I sent her the RCW for WA that states 24 hours notice and they cannot make unreasonable demands denying access indirectly.My AWESOME inspector is booked solid but the availability he had is out the window due to the strange tenant demands.

If it isn't then I  think you could go either way but I would think that it is a not unreasonable to ask them to pay.
