I'm traveling from Boise Idaho starting this morning (5 day trip).If you have or can help me find a single family rental in Austin (move in ready) or know someone who does...I'm looking for a 3 bed 1 or 1.5 bath with:modern kitchen appliances/fixtures throughoutfenced backyard for dogspreferably a fireplace, but not a deal breakerup to $1900 a monthno HOAAlso, looking to make connections in real estate investing there in Austin.

If they say you can afford $3500/mo but  you know that you like to have money for eating out a lot, concerts, travel, whatever, then be smart.  

I'd encourage anyone traveling outside of your "home area" to seek out local BP'er and hang out.

The guy is a truck driver and travels often.

Day 1: Not impressed, payed 1000$ and still have no clue how to snap flip, how I have access to finance or buyers.. feels like a scam already.. payed for travel and hotel to attend this event.. 

You could continue to research good markets that cash flow, start connecting through BP w/local players that are doing what you want to do, travel to the area and really get to know it more, make connections w/brokers, property managers, attend any local BP or MF meetups you find out about.  

I am actually traveling 15-18th and won't be in town.
