NYC based real estate investors?
Hey BP community,
I am looking to organize a casual drinks / meetup for folks who live & work in New York City and who invest in real estate part-time. I'm starting my journey as a part-time real estate investor (current managing two doors) and it'd be great to meet other young professionals who are investing either in or out of state.
Direct Message me if you'd be interested in joining a small meet-up like this. It'd be awesome to get the community together.
Quick notes about me:
I was born and raised in NYC (Queens, Long Island)
Current 2-family rental is in Queens Village
I work full-time at a growth-stage technology company in NYC on their Strategy team
My goals are to get 10 additional doors under my management in the next 3 years.
Cheers,
Dev

If you guys want to come out my way in Brooklyn, basically near Prospect Park, I would be happy to meet with you.
If you read my posts and my background, you'll find I have 2 decades of Real Estate Investing history in Brooklyn.
I currently own 7 multi-Family Investment properties, generally 3 and 4 Family buildings, in Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, Windsor Terrace, and Ditmas Park, with partners.
The total Assets are worth over $15 Million.
If my strategies are not necessarily aligned with yours, at worst you will walk away with an understanding on how to be a successful buy and hold Investor in a highly expensive and appreciating market like Brooklyn.
You don't have to invest my way. In fact, very rarely do I find Investors from BP promoting the way I invest. Usually it has something to do with lack of cash flow, overpriced properties and you will lose all your money.
But after making about $1 Million on average per year profits for the last 10 years for my Partners and I, I think I have had the last laugh.
I also reserve the right to pass on this offer if the group takes too long. I have other business ventures that are in the works which has a demand on my time.
Make it easy for me and I'll be happy to shoot the breeze. Bring your laptops, and I'll go over math calculations which will show you why I invested here for the last 2 decades and why I still continue to invest.
