I'm not aware that Snohomish county has blanket ban on looking at criminal history on a rental application. 

If its just for recreational use can we ban it from the property.

You charge the T/B an assignment fee which essentially means that you are selling them the rights you have locked up in the contract.The way I do it is I have a separate Assignment of Agreement which states that the assignee(T/B) is paying me $X to take over my position in the attached Lease and Option to Purchase agreements.

Id be willing to pay an another 3% for that protection.I’d be worried if PayPal reviewed my account and saw I was doing business using the friends method they’d freeze my account and all my funds or ban entirely.

It may be rather innocuous and like a "ban the box" thing applied to housing. 

I am curious how fellow landlords in Baltimore County, MD, are reacting to this new law banning discrimination based on a tenant's source of income.

While specific neighborhoods have banned STR, like Brookhaven, all together.

As a general comment, I always find it interesting that businesses can file for a BK and no one blinks,  but god forbid a struggling family does - they are banned from decent housing and made pariah. 

But there is a reason they are considered a dangerous breed, restricted or banned in some areas and can cause problems with getting insurance.
