I spoke to my very first mortgage broker today (referred by a friend) and as soon as we got on the phone I was immediately bombarded with questions about my situation while any question I had about our relationship was brushed off with short, dismissive answers (some of my questions were: do you have realtors I should connect with or will you be working with a realtor that I choose?

He’s not involved in the business at all.I’ve spent my entire professional career in places and spaces dominated by men and I use this difference to my advantage.I sometimes get comments that go something like “wow, you’re pretty good at ——— for a woman” but I just brush that sh*# off.2 things have been tremendously helpful to me.1-I’m very systematic and set processes for everything, including picking contractors and getting bids.2-I’m involved in an amazing mastermind group that helps me learn, network and share wins and losses.I’ve been taken advantage of by a contractor or two but most REIs I know have.

I need to brush up my skills when it comes to posting in the proper category.  

They power companies aren't allowed to clear brush in fire prone areas. 

And the tools required for those tasks are a paint brush and a roller, and a shovel/rake.Good luck man.

Ill have to brush up on my San Antonio maps...lol, I've only lived here about 4 months now.

Painting them all with a broad brush of impropriety is neither credible nor accurate.

They owe me $$$ for my time and expense determining their viability as tenants.If i did STR i would leave a bottle of bathroom cleaner and a toilet brush with a bow on it.
