That's a shocking story.

Long story short, cosmetically ugly and out of style is fine, not functioning isn't and WOOD ROT is a major no/no with FHA and VA appraisers.

You only get weekly (sometimes more often) marketing emails of anecdotal stories.

If you can’t get into your market without that other $50k, that’s a different story.

A tenant complaining online might indicate that the property manager handled them appropriately, so be sure to ask the manager for their side of the story.7.

I could list a lot of reasons why from my perspective but Frank Rolfe with Mobile Home University tells the story the best in this podcast. 

But when you meet these subsidized tenants and listen to their stories, you can definitely sympathize for where they're coming from and understand that the program really does help people and the immense need for it in this area.
