I've never been to the InvestClub for Women, although I've heard good things and was impressed with the founders when having met them.

I am impressed with the amount of knowledge on this site, and I am kind of disappointed I didn't discover it earlier.

Outside of REI, I have a career in the IT space, having worked at various large financial firms in the NY/NJ area and now as a Solutions Architect at a small firm in the network appliance space.In the few weeks that I've been reviewing info here on BP, I have been very impressed with the sheer volume of talent and knowledge present in the community; it's truly humbling to see just how much there is to learn.

Yeah that's the impression that I had, they seemed pretty inflexible, since they seemed non-negotiable on several points, so would I really want to work with them anyway?
