I think books and and podcasts undermine the ability to communicate respectfully and to bring something to the table, or at least a good attitude and consideration.

The inspection hasn't happened yet, and we haven't had a contractor walk through, but I'm thinking ahead to next steps.Do you folks have guidance on what exactly you communicate to your general contractor for what you need in a rental when you're looking to redo a a decent amount without any demo or major overhauls?

Its always better to communicate and come to an agreement.

The Bank also communicates with the title company to order chain of title and require lender/title insurance.

All are necessary, honestly we did our direct book site to piggy back off VRBO, air and a local site we use. 90% of it is repeat bookings that like to communicate with us through that direct book site vs some protected site like air.we send out a mass email to all our guests using hostfully email capture and offer 5% off the lowest direct booking price which still nets us more than we get for the same booking through the platforms.we do all of it, direct, local and the platforms, we continue to have good success and our clients/guests love it.as far as the price for the website development- to be honest we had a great year one year and needed a write off so that was a factor as well. bottom line is people find you in so many ways, we don't want to eliminate any of them.

If it's part of the contract that the seller will take care of all of the village inspection items and now he's refusing then your attorney (if your using one) should be communicating to the seller that he will be in breach of the contract if he does not take care of the items.
