Apparently from a rather obscure source, IRS Announcement 99-82 which said: "...The 1998 instructions for Form 4562, Depreciation and Amortization, and Publication 527, Residential Rental Property, classify certain personal property used in a rental real estate activity (appliances, carpeting, furniture, etc.) as 7-year property.

I actually sold a property of mine after the announcement too and had great luck with that.

@Bob Okenwa This will be a bigger problem.I think the White House and CDC just announced today about the extension of the eviction moratorium. 

I know there was already a fee placed on doing a refinance but would love for anyone to shed light on how this announcement will affect cash out refis.
