You have to be able to be around getting close to people and them passing away etc. and the liability issues.There are many different levels from just owning a 55+ age apartment building where nothing is generally required to some assisted living and then other places with full blown acute around the clock care.

If your wanting to list a several million dollar house in the most in demand neighborhood in the perfect town, you can probable get a cut on the commission,,,,if your buying 'regular ' houses you won't get a discount from anyone with experience.My agent really never finds me deals,,,she handles the paperwork,,I have had deals that she did very little, I have had other deals (like a short sale I'm in the middle of now that has gone on for 4 months), that she should make double commission on.I negotiate nearly everything, but I don't negotiate with my CPA, attorney or other professions that I want truely quality people handling.
