Would you feel leery of taking a stroll with your family down to the corner pizza parlour to buy a slice? 

Here's how I would look at it if I were in your shoes.  

If I'm in your shoes, I would attend at least 1 RE event a month or two, just to brush shoulders with lenders, other agents, and investors that frequent these events. 

If I were in your shoes I would analyze the deal as if it were an investment property though.

The pay was not the best of course and at the time I was investing in other markets such as shoes. 

It wasn’t long after I started wholesaling that I put myself in the homeowner’s shoes and thought how much I would hate it if I had people blowing me up all day.

It can certainly be difficult to get ahold of property management companies when you call, as staff will typically deal with a high call volume as well as internal periods of unavailability.If I were in your shoes, I would email and copy in other people from the organization, if you know any, and just express that you're very concerned that you have had total silence since last week and you need to hear from someone by tomorrow.
