All these leads were "free" (if you ignore the cost of buying a domain name ($14.99 for 2 years) and hosting of my website ($49.99 a month).Now, you can come up with a ton of excuses here."

Just do the following:- Go to Google and search for "best type of property to invest in" (no quotes)- Click on 2 links in the search results: the first one starts with apartment-penang (ranked 1 when I checked) and the second one has propertyinvesting as the domain name (ranked 5 when I checked).Both these sites have some interesting information as to the pluses and minuses of buying different forms of real estate and may be of interest to you.

I also wanted something where the domain name was available.

GoDaddy.com is probably the cheapest you are going to find for registering a domain name.

But they will pick up your domain registration in year 1 which is awfully nice of them.They do have some good business tools.

I'm charging a fraction of that value per month so, if one doesn't pay the monthly fee, the site will stop working".But what about the domain?

There are agreements in the public domain, I would think.

We're still kind of limited on cash so I'll only be registering one domain.  

This has been talked about for years but there would need to be a good amount of land taking by eminent domain and the reality of it is I do not see it happening in the next 20 years.
