@Tom HarkinsThanks for your reply, we have a young child and frequent family visitors so a SFH may make sense as well, but figured a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo or smaller townhouse would be a more rentable property, what was your experience with your SFH and if you don't mind me asking what was the price point for a SFH vs Condo/Townhome in MoCo.

My biggest concern is that that with the huge run up in prices in this area, there is going to be a pretty significant correction, and I will be left holding the bag if a correction occurs.I really want to help this family member as they have a young child (4 yrs old) and a spouse who have been displaced from their home.

This saved me throughout 2020 as the parent paid for rent for their child for over a year to keep them from getting an eviction and taking the parents down with them.

One potential problem with LLC's is you may have problems transferring an LLC to an heir when you pass away, or you may have problems 'Gifting' an LLC to a child since properties are usually considered to be owner by the LLC and not by you.
