I have a family member moving to the Raleigh area soon, between 1 st and 15th of march.looking for a single family rental home 4/2ba. in a b class area.

There are A, B, C, & D neighborhoods everywhere.

Total aside - I lived right next to drug dealers / very heavy users in a B+/A- area in Northern Virginia, but their frequent guests didn't cause any trouble to me (didn't break into my car or rob my house), so I left it alone.

I'm renting out a B townhouse (very nicely finished) for $1200 in London and that is chump change compared to what the same place would fetch in Toronto.

I am currently pursuing a BS in accounting and working full-time.

If the home is in a good neighborhood  (A/B), I would hold and take the positive cash flow over time, as the home *should* appreciate in value.
